Named after a long time and founding member, Lyle Northey, who spearheaded this huge fund raising event for 18 years! Supporting our Golf Scramble allows us to send local youth to leadership camps, host exchange students, send students abroad, sponsor the Interact club at THHS and much more, all funds go to supporting our local youth initiatives.
Our biggest fundraiser of the year! Rotary Roses helps to fund all of our local projects. Purchasing Rotary Roses allows us to provide events like Light Up the Park.

We have been able to provide college scholarships every year to one graduating student from each of the high schools in our school district.

RYLA is a youth leadership camp that gives high school students hands-on active learning activities and sessions to build on their own leadership skills. We sponsor up to four high school students to attend RYLA every year.
Interact is Rotary International's service club for young people ages 12 to 18. Our Interact club is in the Two Harbors High School, we provide support and guidance, but they are self-governing and self-supporting. We also provide a college scholarship to one Interact graduate every year.
Every August we compete in the Lake Superior Dragon Boat race- organized by other Duluth and Superior area Rotary clubs benefiting some great local charities!
In partnership with Red Cross, we have been able to install over 100 smoke alarms in our community!
Our district hosts many youth exchange students, as well as sending students abroad. Hosting or going abroad provides such a unique enriching experience. Many of our own club members have hosted students and sent their own children abroad. We've connected with countries all over the world.
Any topic may be chosen that will use the Rotary Four Way Test:
1. Is it the truth?
2. Is it fair to all concerned?
3. Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
